A great big thank you goes out to Sullivans and the Michigan Beef Industry Commission for sponsoring our June meeting.
Hopefully everyone that was in attendance walked away with a deeper appreciation for the subtle flavor nuances in beef.
So much is happening lately its hard to keep up with it all. Summer seem to be slipping away.
Our fall classes for Servsafe sanitation, Nutrition and Management still remain open at this time so far sanitation is the only class that has generated enough interest that we will definitely proceed ahead with.
I'm currently working on dates and time for the sanitation course and will forward this information to everyone once I have it.
If you are still interested in any of these classes time is running out the deadline is the 15th of August and will not be extended again. Please e-mail me at pfahrenbruch@bavarianinn.com with how many attendees and what classes you would have interest in.
You wont be able to find these classes less expensive anywhere else. Please remember that these classes are needed for both certification and recertification as well as the Servsafe certification which is required by your local health department for the PIC "Person in charge".
The cost for each class will be $36.00 for a member in good standing $48.00 for a member of another chapter and $72.00 for a non member. Plus the additional cost of any book(s).
Each class will be approximately 4 hours in length for 4 weeks starting sometime in late August or early September and running through mid December.
Once we have established the initial level of interest in any or all of these classes I will be able to get back to you with exact dates, times and location of the classes.
Again please keep in mind any colleague or team member(s) that would also be able to benefit from these valuable resources.
Once again its scholarship time we have the privilege of offering one student scholarship of $1000. ($500. per semester) or one professional scholarship of $500. we have applications available.
