  Are you looking for a fun filled evening and networking while helping to support a very worth while cause.  Then I have just that opportunity for you calling all volunteers for our 2010 Autofest brat stand in Frankenmuth on Friday September 10th in St. Julian's parking lot at the north end of town. 

 
  The stand will be up from 5 PM to about 9 PM if you are able to help out  please contact me at pfahrenbruch@bavarianinn.com .  Now is your time to do something special have some fun while doing it, and give a little something back to making our chapter that much greater.
 
  Fall class update we will be offering the Servsafe sanitation but do to a lack of interest in the Management and Nutrition classes they will not be offered for 2010.
 
  The Servesafe sanitation class for those that have expressed interest will be offered Thursday November the 4th and the 11th between 6 and 9 PM in Frankenmuth.  Again your cost will be $36.00 for a member in good standing $48.00 for a member of another chapter and $72.00 for a non member plus $65.00 for the cost of the book.  If you haven't reserved a spot already I may have a few more spots left please contact me as these will be on a first come, first serve basis at pfahrenbruch@bavarianinn.com

  News from our National convention in Anaheim, CA. my toque off and congratulation to chef John Zehnder CEC, AAC who was elected to the position of chairmen of the national ethic committee.
 
 Special thanks goes out to Andy Bacigalupo who supported our chapter at the national convention as well.  Andy was one of the educational seminar presenters his seminar highlighted no salt reason to season.
 
  During our general session a new culinarians code was adopted which is as follows.
 
Culinarian's Code
 
As a proud member of the American Culinary Federation, I
pledge to share my professional knowledge and skill with all
culinarians. I will place honor, fairness, cooperation and
consideration first when dealing with my colleagues. I will
keep all comments professional and respectful when dealing
with my colleagues. I will protect all members from the use
of unfair means, unnecessary risks and unethical behavior
when used against them for another's personal gain. I will
support the success, growth, and future of my colleagues
and this great federation.
